Tampa Bay in Florida is a major tourist destination, even by Florida standards, and as a major part of the Tampa Bay area, St. Petersburg has plenty of amazing hotels for visitors and vacationers to enjoy. So if you find yourself staying in the area, consider staying in one of the following hotels:

1. The Loews Don CeSar Hotel hotels-st-petersburg

Also known as the Pink Palace for its parapets and its distinctive paint job, the Loews Don CeSar Hotel is a resort that’s perfect for the vacationer for whom money is no object. The Pink Palace has sat on the St. Pete Beach since 1928, letting its visitors enjoy fine food, a sandy beach, and easy access to the Fort De Soto County Park for the better part of a century. Fortunately, the accommodations are as modern as a hotel can get, and you might also like to know that the Don CeSar runs discounts for longer stays.

2. Treasure Island Beach Resort

Whereas the Pink Palace is a stately old hotel, Treasure Island Beach Resort is more of a fashionable new hotel. Along with access to the white, sandy beach you can see from most of the balconies in the hotel, guests get to enjoy a pool area that’s exclusively for their use, a burger restaurant on the main level, plasma TVs in every room, and convenient access to a boat rental service, a small golf course, and tennis courts. Bedroom suites also include a kitchen area with a stove and a refrigerator.

3. Sandpearl Resort

Located up north by Clearwater, the Sandpearl Resort offers some old-fashioned luxury with both hotel rooms and suites designed for month-long stays or more. Residents get access to a pool that’s more of a lagoon than anything else, a wide beach, and Caretta on the Gulf, the only four-diamond restaurant in Clearwater. Sandpearl even has its own spa, although you’ll have to make an appointment to visit it separately.

4. Vinoy Renaissance Resort

This resort is somewhat unusual compared to the others since it sits on the Tampa Bay shore instead of the Gulf Coast. This means the resort doesn’t get its own beachfront, but it is right next to downtown St. Petersburg and all the piers, parks, and museums that make up the cultural heart of the city.

Like the Pink Palace, the Vinoy is also a building that dates back to the 1920s and has a pleasant salmon paint job. The amenities inside include a pool, golf course access, a spa, several meal options for those who don’t want to explore the downtown restaurants, and a variety of rooms and suites for every budget.

When you visit Tampa Bay, you won’t find any shortage of fine four-star hotels and resorts, not to mention all the mid-range hotels for visitors on a budget. Just make sure you budget your stay appropriately and responsibly, and make sure you choose the hotel with all the amenities and the best location for what you want your vacation to be.
