When you’re ready to invest in a new car, whether it’s fresh on the market or pre-owned, you might be hesitant about purchasing a prepaid maintenance plan. It offers coverage for scheduled tuneups you may need down the road, but as with any plan, there are likely some drawbacks too. Here are a few pros and cons of a prepaid maintenance plan to keep in mind. bluecar

Pros of a Prepaid Maintenance Plan

  • The dealer notifies you when it’s time for service. You pre-pay for maintenance and the dealer takes care of the rest. This means a busy lifestyle won’t keep you from missing out on important tuneups you’ve forgotten to schedule, adding an extra level of convenience.
  • You can get your maintenance plan for less. It’s not uncommon for a dealer to offer a prepaid maintenance plan at a discounted price, especially when they want to build your loyalty as a customer. You’ll often get the same coverage as a factory-backed maintenance plan, but at a price that’s more budget-friendly.
  • You’ll benefit from a locked-in rate. When you opt for a prepaid plan, you agree to pay for maintenance service at a particular interest rate for a specific amount of time. This means you won’t have to worry about paying more throughout the course of the contract.
  • Enjoy priority service. You can be in and out in no time without the unnecessary waiting that’s common with regular checkups.

North Shore Dog Park

Within the roughly 33 acres of North Shore Park sits a special fenced-off area just for your pup to play in. This dog park is conveniently located near the waterfront and offers two dog areas: one for larger pets and another for smaller canines.

You can also keep your furry friend feeling hydrated with a water station and clean with hoses at your disposal. When you’re ready for a break, take a seat on one of the benches, relax under the shady trees, and keep your phone juiced with a convenient charging station.

Kenwood Dog Park

Do you want to feel safe and secure in your newest ride? The Maserati Ghibli 2017 could do the trick for you. Here are six excellent safety features this new car has to offer. whitec3

1. Anti-Lock Breaks

You’ve heard the deal about anti-lock brakes before: They can help protect you when you need to come to a sudden halt. When you stop suddenly, the ABS braking system senses your tires’ pause. Then, it balances the brakes’ pressures, allowing the tire to move slowly and carefully once again. This process ensures that your tires won’t lock up. You’ll still be able to control your car and turn around if needed.

2. All-Around Airbags

The airbags, placed on various sides and angles, are likely the most seductive safety feature of the 2017 Maserati Ghibli. Front-impact airbags offer additional security for the head. Side airbags also provide cushioning for the front passengers’ chest areas. Overhead airbags are installed as well, as are knee bags, to protect you from top to bottom.

3. Anti-Whiplash

Whiplash is, unfortunately, one of the common consequences of minor to major collisions. The Anti-Whiplash installment in the 2017 Maserati Ghibli can protect you by securing your skull with head restraints. If a rear collision should occur, these instruments hold your head securely in place, decreasing the likelihood of injury.

It’s always exciting to get a new set of wheels for the road, but it can also be a challenge to choose the right luxury car to suit your personality and desires. With many attractive Maserati models available, what is the best way to decide? The 2017 Maserati Quattroporte GTS GranLusso and 2017 GranSport are the same with the exception of trim options. Here’s some information to help you make the best decision between these outstanding vehicles.

1. The Interior Details

The first hint to the differences between the looks of the GranLusso and GranSport is indicated by their unique names. Though they are both luxury vehicles, the GranLusso is specially built to express a class luxury. It’s fitted with luxurious interior detailing for utmost comfort, appearance, and pleasure. On the other hand, the GranSport has a more utilitarian approach, despite its premium materials.

The difference can be experienced on a test drive. As you sit back in the GranLusso’s cabin, you will notice it is fully decked, its Ermenegildo Zegna Edition silk fabric giving a top impression. You’ll love the exotic dashboard that has open-pore Radica wood to create a home-like feeling. As you drive, make a swift turn with the smooth leather steering wheel. Your test-drive companions will love the heated rear seats when it’s cold outside, as well as the four-zone climate control, and the electric sunblind to protect their eyes.

So, what does the interior of the 2017 GTS GranSport have to offer in comparison? As all Maserati models offer impeccable quality standards, this vehicle offers no shortage of good taste, either. The distinction between it and its GranLusso sibling is a question of style and personal preference. Crawl into the GranSport’s backseat, and you’ll feel a soft leather interior-with either carbon fiber or pure leather-and a smooth, piano black wooden dashboard. The sporty seats are sculpted to excellence, offering a spacious, athletic style.

Car dealers are experienced, aggressive negotiators, and you may need to have a few conversations with a salesperson before you reach a price you can be happy with. You should stay patient and avoid falling in love with one vehicle in order to negotiate the best price. Here are some more tips for negotiating your Maserati purchase like a pro: maserati3

1. Keep Your Commitment Low

Show your dealer that you’ll need some convincing to buy a car by saying you’re just browsing, just looking, still comparing your options, or planning to buy in a few months. Mentioning a competitor could make a salesperson more willing to make a deal. You can also mention any flaws in the vehicle you’re considering, like high mileage or a small interior.

2. Do Some Research

Before you go to a dealership, research the average price of the car you want to buy. Kelley Blue Book has average prices for most vehicles. Print a copy of the price for the car you want and take it with you to the dealership. That way, you can reference it for a better deal on your next vehicle, and you won’t have to pay more than a fair price.

3. Don’t Get Distracted

Dealers usually ask about financing, the amount of a down payment, and whether there is a trade-in before negotiating price, and some businesses adjust sales prices based on the trade-in value and the financing terms. To get the best deal, you should negotiate the sale price first, and then work out the terms of your financing and trade-in. Interest rates on car loans from banks or credit unions are often lower than the rates dealerships offer, and you can always sell your old vehicle to an individual buyer. Remember to think about your total price as well as monthly payments.
